Important Update:

Important Announcement to Our MBSS Families

To our incredible swim families,

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Mr. Bill’s Swim School will be closing its doors at the end of the current Fall 2 term. This decision was not made lightly, but Bill has chosen to step back and focus on himself as he continues forward in his personal journey. We fully support him, and we hope you will join us in doing the same.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful staff and families for the tremendous love and support you’ve given us over the years. Serving the Charlottetown and area community has truly been an honour. MBSS has been more than a swim school—it has been a family, a support system, and a place where countless children built confidence, safety, and lifelong memories in the water.

MBSS will not be offering swim lessons in 2026. However, we are committed to ensuring that families are not left without opportunities. We are excited to share that Coastal Swim Academy, a new business created to continue serving the community, will be opening soon. It will be operated by two familiar faces—Tiffannee Green and Jeffrey Boyle—who are dedicated to providing the same high standard of instruction, care, and commitment that MBSS families are accustomed to—and no doubt delivering an experience just as strong, if not even better.

Coastal Swim Academy will be welcoming as many ongoing swimmers for their first term in January, along with reaching out to families on the MBSS waitlist. Their goal is to assist as many families as possible and ensure that our closure creates the least disruption to your children’s swim journey. Please follow their page for updates, registration details, and contact information. They will be in touch soon with more.

A message from Bill:
“As many of you know, I lost much of my memory and cannot look back on those early years myself. But hearing your stories, your gratitude, and the impact this school has had on so many families has deeply touched me. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me—they’ve shown me what a special place MBSS has been. Keep swimming, stay strong, and always strive to be the best version of yourself.”

From all of us at MBSS—thank you for the memories, the trust, and the love.
